As 2004 Philippine Elections Near
More Filipinos Uncertain on Economic Prospects
On the survey question ‘What do you think will happen to our economy in 2004?' 44.27% said that they do not know, up from 22.66% in the previous quarter.
However, anticipating a change in administration, fewer respondents (25.39%) think that the economy will worsen compared with the third quarter 2003 results (33.33%).
IBON conducted the nationwide survey on December 1-14, 2003 involving 1,162 respondents and with a margin of error of plus or minus three percent.
