About the Philippine Caucus for Peace
The PHILIPPINE CAUCUS FOR PEACE is a coalition of Filipino
organizations and individuals in Victoria, formed to
create a network for study and action on issues that
threaten peace in the Philippines and Australia, and
in the Asia Pacific region.
The Caucus hopes to create a space where Filipino and
Australian individuals and organizations, political parties
and institutions can dialogue and develop a common ground
for promoting peace and stability in both countries and
in the region.
The organizations that spearheaded the establishment
of the Caucus are Gabriela Australia, Bayan Muna, and
convenors of Migrante Melbourne.
